I am on Blogspot!

Saturday, September 27, 2008
After months and months of procrastination, I've finally gotten my a** to start a new blog here. Not exactly migrating my old word press blog, coz the thought of logging in there and pulling out my pics and posting them here just irriatates me!!

Gotten hold of more vintage fabric lately, but time is just not on my side.... my sister's defunct bedroom has now turned into my store!! With tons of fabric but no output as yet... arugh

Caught on camera for the 1st time, is my recent hole in my pocket: my 2nd hand industrial sewing machine. To date, its my best kept secret from my boyfriend, whom has surprisingly not walked into this room for like 3 weeks? since i bought this hardy old lady back. It sews like a typhoon! (ok not very descriptive here).. but yes.. am so looking forward to getting the full potential out of her!
1st drawer of vintage fabric

2nd drawer of vintage fabric .....

3rd drawer of vintage fabric !

4th DRAWER OF VINTAGE FABRIC !!!!

Thereafter, I'm just too embarassed to upload my 5th and ... ok .... I am just hoarding things, am I??! Have just 'booked' my bf in for a DIY batik session with him tonight, he said, ok (for the 1st time he didnt label a 'yucks' to my hobbies) and followed by "can make my own design right? obracing logo!"............... (silence)

i am collecting rent from you for using my old room. how abt a 20% cut from your profits?!! hahahaahah

can the mai-mai sew some vintage baby clothing? THAT WILL BE SO COOL cos I have not seen any vintage baby clothes yet.....think cos most of the vintage fabric are not the most comfortable and hence maybe not suitable for young children. But I think if you managed to get the comfy retro fabrics, you might hit a goldmine here. trust me, parents these days love to shop for their little darlings, the motherhood forum is doing a roaring business with mothers ordering clothes, shoes and what-not online...as if everything is free.

you got the idea from me here. remember this!!

love you. i hope dayglow vintage becomes the most hit website in the world! Oh, then maybe I can become famous????
